We were connected to Bob (Robert) and Susan through Angie’s List. They were looking for an exterior painter and we came to bid their project on July 29, 2014. Bob and Susan own a gorgeous 2-story home on the corner of SW Scholls Ferry Road and Hamilton St in a quiet little cul-de-sac of the Bridlemile neighborhood.

Bob accepted our bid on August 9 and went on to decide on their colors with their decorator/color consultant, Brenda Miller. This took quite some time as they had used the method of applying sample paint onto their boards to see what color would be best for them.

We finally started the project on the week of September 8th with a complete exterior pressure wash and hand washing of the areas near the windows. Since we were doing a complete color change, Bob opted for our Platinum Coating System in which we apply two coats of paint, the first was backrolled/brushed into the porous areas and the second coat was an airless spray. The results were phenomenal, especially since they were going from a blue color to a more off-white exterior paint color.

After we had done our work and cleaned up, we reached out to Bob to create a punch list for the minor things that our crew may have missed. Bob has great attention to detail and we were able to come back soon after to complete the last tidbits of our work (which consisted of sharpening some margins, adding more coverage to areas that were only obvious in flat morning light, and a little extra caulking and touchups). They were both very happy with the final result and even asked us to come back during the winter months to paint their interior, which we will post about at a later date.
